Playstation 3 Yellow Light of Death

Hey everyone, jmoney here and just wanted to show everybody that's into console gaming a less stressful method for fixing your playstation 3's yellow light of death error if you happen to encounter it recently or can be prepared for it when it does happen.

The Playstation 3 is an awesome video game system as well as home entertainment system that is can of course be used by hardcore games and families alike. Having access to some of the best video games available today, can play blu-ray movies, an also has access to netflix and other internet based programs, it's a no brainer why you will find a lot of people with one. While this is a good thing to have entertainment in your house where people can enjoy, it also comes at a price, nothing is infinitely lasting and at some point in time, maintenance will be required.

As of the past few years, the playstation 3's have been having problems as far as not cutting on at random times when the owners will try to use it. Most claims (if not all) state that when their system wouldn't load to the dashboard where they can see their media, the system would show yellow lights where the green power on lights are.

Now you would think that this would be a simple fix that the sony company could fix for you, but that's not the case either. After doing further research, I found out that when you do send in your system, you would have to roughly wait 6 weeks to get your system back. On top of that was the most shocking and ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time, you have to pay 200 dollars for sony to fix it...that's right , you heard me...200 DOLLARS to fix something that wasn't even your fault. Even though I own a xbox 360, I thought that was COMPLETE RIP OFF that the Ps3 owners don't deserve.

To make a long story short, I had a cousin of mine actually go through this problem and he wanted to see if I could find anybody locally to fix the Ps3 for him. I did come across a few technicians that were
good at fixing console as well as play -n- trade, but no one could actually fix the problem, so it look as if my cousin was going to have to pay the 200 dollars, but I couldn't let that happen. So after further searching, I came across a great guide that will not only help you fix the problem, but will also send you the tools that you need to fix any of the error codes that come up from the Ps3, a step by step pdf, a booklet full of pictures to follow as well as instructional dvd's and online support to guide you through fixing the yellow light error on the Ps3.

We were able to fix his yellow light error within 2 hours max taking our time and following the dvd's. It was by far one of the best guides I found for a gaming system ever, and if you want to fix ps3's on the side or help fix your own or someone elses, it is definitely possible with this guide.
